Canada’s weather is simply majestic, regardless of the time of year- but you will still need to prepare for your trip properly, according to the time of year.
This is the start of a four-part blog series, in which we will cover the weather, fishing, and more in Saskatchewan during the various seasons.
Since we are rapidly approaching the spring season, let’s look at what lies ahead. We usually see signs of spring in late march, as the saying goes “in like a lion and out like a lamb”.
Spring is the obvious time when the birds migrate home, so the bird watching is dramatically superior in the spring.
During late spring, walleye and pike usually begin feeding and growing in the Saskatchewan waters.
Remember when checking the weather to convert if you’re coming from The U.S. The last thing you want is to be under prepared or over-dressed.
